Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026.
Rankpost is a TimeToPost product, operated by Opsibyte (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit rankpost.app or use the Rankpost app, and the choices you have. Rankpost accounts are TimeToPost accounts and are handled under the same systems.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time code and to contact you about your account.
- Site connection data: your site address and the WordPress username and application password you give us, used only to publish the articles you approve or schedule. You can revoke the application password in WordPress at any time.
- Content settings: the topics, cadence and publishing mode you choose, and the articles we draft for you.
- Billing data: handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We receive your plan, payment status and billing period, never your full card number.
- Attribution data: when you first visit, we store the campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), any referral code, the referring page and the page you landed on, in your browser’s local storage for 90 days. If you sign up or buy, this is sent with your account so we know which channels work.
- Analytics: we may use a privacy-focused analytics tool (Umami) that does not use cookies and records aggregate page views and anonymous events.
Why we use it
To provide the service you signed up for (contract), to keep it secure and improve it (legitimate interest), to process payments and keep records we are legally required to keep (legal obligation), and to understand which marketing channels bring customers (legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run Rankpost: hosting, email delivery, payments (Stripe), and AI model providers that generate article drafts from your topics and site context. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Account and content data are kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes. Articles already published on your own site stay there; they are yours.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict some processing. You can delete your account yourself from Settings in the app, or email hello@timetopost.co. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
